5.2-View Currently Available Bounce Accounts


View Bounce Accounts

The bounce email accounts which have earlier been setup using “Setup Bounce Accounts” page are listed here to view and manage. The page offers the list of all existing bounce accounts with the relevant information about each account and ability to perform certain quick actions to manage these accounts. If you aren't login with an admin user account, you’ll only be able to view the bounce account which you have created as per the permission assigned to you by the admin.

Sr is the abridged form of serial number and in almost all the view pages of MUMARA, Sr would be the first column to start the view table with. Serial number of view bounce accounts table shows the records in ascending order (1-10).

You can view more than 10 records as well, by selecting more records to view as per your requirement. To select more records to view on the page, read the following passage under "Number of Records per Page".


Names of currently available bounce accounts.  This name is required to identify or search particular bounce account from the list, therefore the name should be unique.


The host which you have mentioned while creating the particular bounce account, this is actually the path to your bounce server or the email server to which the bounce to email belongs.


The username of the bounce to email address which you have provided while setting up the particular account.


Which method or access protocol the particular bounce account is using? Whether it is IMAP or POP, the column provides the relevant information.


The opening port which you have selected while creation of the bounce account. If the default ports are selected. The column will show the default opening port of IMAP (143) and POP (110) respectively. 

Using PMTA

When it says “Yes” it means that the particular account has configured with advance bounce settings to process bounce from PowerMTA logs. And when it says no, it means that the account is configured with the basic settings to process the bounce without using PowerMTA.




Followed by the above mentioned details of the currently available bounce accounts, table moves to the next column which is “Actions”. The quick action buttons allow performing following couple of tasks to manage the accounts.

Clicking on the edit button will directly lead you to the page where you will be able to modify the information you have setup earlier.


Click the button and you will be asked to confirm, if you really want to delete the bounce account. Answering the prompt message in yes will result in the deletion of that split test permanently.


a)      Number of records per page


To select the number of records you want to view per page, the page puts a dropdown menu on view towards the top of the page. The dropdown menu starts from 10 records to display, and ends with all records on one page. The following figure indicates the position of the dropdown on the page.

b)      Copy or Print Bounce Accounts Table


Use the copying options to copy the data in the columns of the table appears below. You can copy the table by using the “Copy” button and can paste it manually in a file, or can copy and save the complete table along with the columns to .CSV file, Excel or PDF format. Further you can get a print out of the complete table by clicking “Print”. See the following figure.

c)      Search Bounce Account


The search box on the left side of the page “View Bounce Accounts” offers a quick way to search particular bounce account within the application, just by typing its name or other identifiable information. Most of the times the accurate search can be conducted using the “Name” of the bounce account, as you need to provide a unique name for each bounce account you create. 

As soon as you start writing in the search box, the system starts processing and sorting the bounce accounts below on the same page without refreshing. Following figure shows that even before typing the complete name in the search box; application has searched and sorted the relevant results.
