View Bounce Reasons

View all the reasons you have setup so far in the table of “View Bounce Reasons” page to further manage the bounce reasons.

Sr is the abridged form of serial number and in almost all the view page of MUMARA, Sr would be the first column to start the view table with. By default the table shows the records records starting from serial number 1 to 10 in ascending order. However, you can view all the records at one page as well. In order to view all records or more than 10 records on one page, read "Number of Records per Page" soon after this table finishes. 


The label of the bounce which you have provided while setting up the particular bounce reason. The label can also be recognized as name, to keep the uniqueness of the particular bounce reason intact, among others.  


Each reason needs to be setup with its respective code. When an email is bounced due to some reason, application matches the error code of that particular reason with the code you have setup. If matches, application stamps that particular email as “Hard” or “Soft” as per the type you have setup for the code.


A short descriptive line associated with the error code of the bounce reason. Some of the codes and their reasons are widely used as  industry standards, like error 5.5.0 occurs due to “Address Does not Exists”


In case an email bounced back with the same reason. Which “Type” of bounce should this reason to be flagged/stamped as (Hard or Soft)?



Perform couple of following actions by clicking the buttons under "Actions" column.

Clicking on the edit button will directly lead you to the page where you will be able to modify the set of information provided earlier.


Click the button and you will be asked to confirm, if you really want to delete the bounce reason from the list. Answering the prompt message in yes will result in the deletion of the particular reasons along with its error permanently.


a)      Number of records per page

To select the number of records you want to view per page, the page puts a dropdown menu on view towards the top of the page. The dropdown menu starts from 10 records to display, and ends with all records on one page. The following figure indicates the position of the dropdown on the page.

b)      Copying the Bounce Reasons Table

Use the copying options to copy the data in the columns of the table appears below. You can copy the table by using the “Copy” button and can paste it manually in a file, or can copy and save the complete table along with the columns to .CSV file, Excel or PDF format. Further you can get a print out of the complete table by clicking “Print”. See the following figure.

c)      Search Bounce Accounts

Search bounce reasons by typing the label/name into the search box. Or view a filtered table of reasons with the type of bounce they are directed to be stamped/ flagged as, by typing “Hard” or “Soft” into the search box.  See the following Figure#5.4.5 in which the application has searched the reasons directed to stamp as “Hard” bounce.
