This page offers list of settings and parental controls for the application to function according to the set preferences. From this page, you can limit the resources, take few configuration measures and put forward default settings for mail function.
Navigate to Application Settings
Main Navigation -> Setup -> Application Settings
Settings appear under two main tabs, one is General and the second is Mail specific settings. Let’s first discuss the settings that appear under general tab.
Application URL/Server IP
First two fields have the values belonging to the primary installation information. CampaignsPlus is the hosted application that auto installs on a cloud instance. The host domain remains the same for every instance like mumara.host, however the client can select a unique URL for his/her instance by providing a desired selector for the host domain, i.e. my.mumara.host. The first field is providing First field shows the URL of your instance where application is being installed and accessed. And the second field provides the IP address of the client’s installation instance. Both these fields aren’t editable.
Select the time zone for the account. Scheduled tasks such as sending of the campaigns, and triggers based actions and other cron based tasks will be performed following this time zone.
Default Batch Size for Email Campaign
Set forth a default batch size for the campaigns. Application will note and apply this batch size when supplying an email campaign to the sender. Batch size of supplying email can’t exceed from this limit. Using the multithreading, batch size of a thread wouldn't increase from this limit.
Default Batch Size of Importing Contacts
If you want certain batch size to apply a limit of contact importing, then select an appropriate size of batch. Otherwise, select no batch if you don’t have any batch preference for importing. But if you provide a batch size of let’s say 50, you actually proposes the import function to setup a batch size of 50 contacts and import them in one go. It also restricts import function from exceeding the size of 50 contacts for importing batch.
Keep Logs for
From “Logs” it refers to the activity logs that the application maintains for the admin reference. Providing a limit will restrict the application to keep the proposed number of recent logs/records in the system, and keep on deleting the old ones.
Hourly Sending Limit
-1 is the value if you want this to be unlimited or don’t want to restrict it to any limit. But if you want the system to restrict for a certain value, provide it in the field and restrict the application not to send more than the hourly sending limit in an hour.
Daily/ Monthly Sending Limits
Followed by the Hourly Sending Limit, both these Daily and Monthly sending limits will work the similar way earlier discussed hourly limit works. -1 will going to be the value if you don’t want the application to restrict for any number, and the value/number should be provided in the fields to restrict application otherwise.
The mail settings that you would provide here will be used to send system generated emails, like the notifications and the forget password emails. The function of integrating the mail function is no different than setting up a sending node; you provide SMTP details to work it out for sending notification and password recovery emails.
